BRER RABBIT GETS BRER FOX A HOSS
The prose story does not have anything about crossing the creek, so I have not included the first images in the story there.

BRER RABBIT AND THE PARTRIDGE NEST
This is not a story about the bobwhite "partidge" (quail). It is the story of how Brer Rabbit offers to sit on the partridge's nest while she washes her dress. He steals the eggs, and then he tells her the eggs just walked off on their own. That is why the partridge still calls for her lost children: bob-white, bob-white.
